Introduction
Murray & Roberts Cementation invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Construction Man with Blasting to be placed in Venetia Mine, Near Musina Limpopo. The successful candidate will report to the XXXXXXX. The company will provide remuneration and benefits relevant and appropriate to the position. Job description
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:
- Knowledge of all construction work such as pipe installations, rail construction and concrete
- Ability to perform risk assessment proficiently
- Working experience in an underground mining environment
- Competent, positive and motivated team
- Compliance with SHEQ, M&RC and client standards, policies and procedures
- Effective self-management and alignment with M&RC values
Minimum requirements
Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:
- Grade 12 or equivalent (NQF4)
- Blasting Certificate
- Good communication skills in English
Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:
- Knowledge of all construction work such as pipe installations, rail construction and concrete
- Shaft Working Experience
- Ability to perform risk assessment proficiently
- Working experience in an underground mining environment
- Experience in Underground Construction [preferably]
