The appointee should:
- Be in possession of Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
- Hold a valid Blasting Certificate
- Must have conventional mining experience
- Be in possession of a valid First Aid Certificate
- Be able to pass the practical test when short listed
- Demonstrate verbal and written English communication skills
- Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk-based medical examination at the relevant Sibanye Stillwater Occupational Health Centre.
Advantageous requirements:
- Extensive working experience in the capacity of a Miner
- Must have experience in conventional mining experience
- Compliance with COP`s and legal requirements
Key responsibilities:
- Ensuring the safety of employees under his/her control
- Blasting support and cleaning operations
- Ensure compliance with safety standards guidelines, policies and procedures
