| Job Description | Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) has an exciting opportunity in our production department. We are looking for talented individual with relevant skills and experience for a Machine Specialist (Electrical) role, which is based in Bloemfontein. The successful candidate will report directly to the Packaging Engineer in Bloemfontein and will be responsible for both Tannery and Gutsche sites including specialist support for Packaging lines, Services and Utilities as required. To maintain, repair and optimize plant and associated devices to ensure plant availability and product quality at minimum cost without sacrificing standards. |
| Key Duties & Responsibilities | KEY OUTPUTS • Standby as required. • Preventative maintenance work (Electrical & Mechanical). • Define, sustain and maintain electrical standards. • Active Participation as Member of various fault-finding teams. • Critical spares identification, specification for all equipment including MDRM activities. • Modification and improvement projects. • Installation of new equipment. • Development of work instructions related to Electrical equipment. • Monitor, optimize and manage performance of production lines and equipment. • Optimization of maintenance schedules MSG3’s and SAP PM. • Ensure machine availability. • Active part of technical “Community of Practice” team across various sites. • Ability to work shifts, Overtime and be available on call-out where necessary. KEY ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES • Contribute to self and team development. • Maintenance budget preparations. • Plan, prepare for the job in a systematic and effective manner. • Must be able to work under the pressure in a fast moving production environment. • Self-starter and good team player. • Must have an appreciation for quality and technical standards. • Must be able to liaise with OEM’s and Technical Support from COF. • Must be able to carry out Electrical maintenance work. • Must have good faultfinding skills including team based problem solving (5W1H, 5WHY etc.) |
| Skills, Experience & Education | QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE • N4 with Trade Test (Electrical) • 5 years’ work experience preferably in FMCG environment. • PC literacy essential – Microsoft packages. • Knowledge of SAP PM and MSG3 will be an advantage. |
