Job Purpose
- To ensure a reliable duty by assisting RME Construction teams during maintenance and construction works.
- To ensure the the work is completed effectively and efficiently performing general worker duties
Key Accountabilities
- Carry out all tasks as set out by the Supervisor / Team Leader
- Be punctual and must be of sober habits
- Handling, loading and offloading material
- Cleaning of sites by removing weeds, stacking material, sweeping floors, removing and disposing of excess / rubble materials.
- Must be able to use hand tool (non-mechanised) in the construction environment
- Cleaning of tools
Qualifications, Skills and Competencies Required
- Minimum Grade 9 and / or 6 months relevant experience
- Physically fit (Undergo medical examination and be declared fit for duty)
- Be alert and safety conscious
- Be able to to communicate in English
- Be able to work under adverse weather conditions
- Be prepared to work extended hours on short notice
- Be willing to relocate or work outside designated depot
- Be able to work in confined spaces and at heights
- Be prepared to engage physical labour
- Health and Safety conscious
- Be prepared to work on noise environmental area.
