Job Description
Purpose of the Job:
As Trainee Buyer you will be required to support the Foods Buyers in the Division in order to ensure constant growth in sales and sales margins.
In addition to this, you will be required to buy and source food products (Groceries and perishables) effectively.
Job Objectives
- Product range and line determination
- Product pricing administration
- Advertising and promotions management
- Buyer assistant management
- Stock level issues resolution in the stores and the distribution centres
- Merchandising layout determination
Requirements
- Matric
- Business related qualification
- 3 – 5 years of retail experience
Knowledge & Skills
- Working knowledge of Buying-systems
- SAP knowledge and skills
